Questions
What is an RWA token?
A token that tracks a real-world asset, such as an ounce of gold or a share of a listed company. It is issued by a company that holds or tracks the asset, and it moves like any other token: it sits in your wallet and trades on-chain.
Why are only these tokens listed?
A token is listed only when LCX Liberty DEX can trade it both ways: our router prices it from its own pools, quotes a $1,000 buy and a $1,000 sell within 5%, and delivers it in a simulated swap. Many tokenized funds can only move between wallets their issuer has approved, so no DEX can route them, and they are not here.
Can I trade when the stock market is closed?
Yes. The pools trade around the clock. When the underlying market is closed, a token's price can move away from the asset's last close, so check the quote and the liquidity on the row before you swap.
Who stands behind each token?
The issuer named on each row. Each publishes its own terms, eligibility rules and reports, and some tokens are not offered to people in certain countries, including the United States. Read the issuer's terms before you trade.
How do you know a token is the real one?
Every contract on this page is checked before it is listed: CoinGecko maps that exact contract to the token, its symbol and decimals match on-chain, and its source code (and, for an upgradeable token, the code behind it) is published on the network's block explorer. Coinbase's tokens on Base are placed by the network itself and carry no source to publish. A token whose code is hidden is not listed. The blue check on each row says how that token was verified.
Can an issuer freeze or change a token?
Yes. Real-world-asset tokens are run by their issuers, who can usually pause transfers, freeze an address or upgrade the contract, as their terms describe. That is how the issuer keeps the token tied to the asset, and it is a risk you take on when you hold one.
Where do the numbers come from?
Prices, the 30-day line and liquidity are measured on-chain from the pools LCX Liberty DEX routes through. Market cap is CoinGecko's figure for the token everywhere it trades.
