FAQ
What is a DEX aggregator, and what does LCX Liberty DEX do?
A DEX aggregator prices a token pair across many decentralized exchanges at once and routes your order to whichever combination pays best. LCX Liberty DEX builds that index itself. We read pool state from chain across every chain we index and price every route against our own copy of it, rather than reselling another aggregator's quote.
Is it really non-custodial?
Yes. You connect your own wallet and sign every transaction, the assets never pass through us, and there is no deposit address or account balance for us to hold or freeze.
What does no fee mean here?
We take nothing on top of the swap. The swapFeeBps field on GET /v1/stats reads 0, there is no integrator cut, and the quote is not widened before you see it. You still pay the pool's own trading fee and network gas.
Which chains can I swap on?
Quotes and swap execution both cover Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum One and OP Mainnet. GET /v1/chains carries a routerDeployed flag per chain if you want to check it yourself. The portfolio reads balances, NFTs and history on every chain we index.
Can I swap a token on one chain for a token on another?
You can price a cross-chain swap today: one quote covering both chains, with all fees, the minimum received on the destination chain, and an estimated arrival time. Execution is rolling out; the swap button says what your pair can do.
How is the swap price worked out?
We index more than 450,000 pools across 40+ venues. The router can split one order across as many as eight pools, and only when splitting pays. Routes are ranked by output after gas, and gas may reorder only routes within 1.5% of the best gross output.
What slippage does a swap use?
0.5% by default, adjustable to 0.1%, 1%, or a custom value up to 3%. Your setting becomes an on-chain minimum: if the price moves past it, the transaction reverts instead of filling worse.
Which wallets can I use?
Any major EVM wallet, through WalletConnect or a browser extension: MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet, Rabby, Trust Wallet, Safe and Ledger all work. Cardano wallets connect over the CIP-30 standard, for portfolio tracking only.
What can I do in the portfolio?
See token balances, liquidity positions, loans, NFTs and transaction history on every chain we index, for the wallet you connect. It only reads from chain. There is nothing to deposit and nothing to sign.
How is this different from swapping on Uniswap directly?
On a single DEX you get that venue's price, and nothing else. Here the same order is priced against every pool we index and can be split across several, so a large trade does not eat its whole price impact in one place. The quote shows the split and every hop before you sign.
